I now know that a single line can represent everything



Rhythm of strokes in Chinese symbols, pictograms and poems, each with a beginning, a middle and an end. Chinese brushes, paper and ink, nowhere to hide. Practice and practice and uncover the shared expressions that connect us across culture and time.


It is easy to paint ghosts and devils.
The most difficult are dogs, horses and other things
